A few words about us
Let us introduce ourselves
At House of Bread by Reut Bakery, we bring the rich traditions of Jewish cuisine to life with our exquisite offerings of challah, babka, and an array of other traditional Jewish dishes. Our bakery is not just a place of business; it’s a warm and welcoming extension of our Jewish heritage. With each bite, we aim to evoke cherished memories and create new ones that celebrate the flavors, aromas, and experiences that define our culture.
Our Signature Offerings
Challah: Our hallmark creation, the challah, is a labor of love. Each batch is made with precision and patience, producing the softest, fluffiest, and most beautifully braided loaves. Whether you prefer classic, whole wheat, or a twist of honey and raisin, our challah is the perfect centerpiece for your Shabbat table.
Babka: Experience the blissful swirls of sweet, cinnamon-infused dough in our babka. Our babka is lovingly twisted, layered, and baked to perfection, offering an indulgence that’s perfect for any time of day.
Traditional Jewish Baked Goods: Beyond challah and babka, we offer a selection of traditional Jewish dishes that transport you to the heart of Jewish culture. From rugelach to blintzes and knishes, we honor the culinary diversity that defines the Jewish experience.
Our story
How it all came to be…
House of Bread by Reut Bakery was born out of a deep passion for preserving and sharing the culinary treasures that have been passed down through generations. Our journey began with a family recipe for challah that was lovingly perfected over decades, each braided loaf a testament to the love and dedication poured into our craft. Inspired by the overwhelming joy and nostalgia our challah brought to our own Shabbat table, we decided to share it with the world.
Our Commitment
We are committed to crafting the most authentic and delectable Jewish baked goods outside of Bubbe’s kitchen. Our commitment to tradition means using only the finest, locally sourced ingredients, including unbleached flour, farm-fresh eggs, and pure honey. Our bakers adhere to time-honored techniques and recipes passed down through our family, ensuring each bite is a taste of history.
